About Me

My name is Allie. I’m 20 years old and my birthday is August 13th. I live in a small Texas town with my Mom, younger sister and three dogs (but not for long because I’m moving into my own apartment soon HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!). I’m currently in the process of switching colleges and majors for the third time. Hopefully in Fall 2013 I’ll be attending Texas State and working toward a degree in Sound Engineering. My favorite video games include: pretty much all fighting games, Metal Gear Solid, NieR, Nintendo (Mainly Zelda, Mario, WarioWare, and Metroid), Final Fantasy (favorites are IX, V, VI, VIII, II, and Crystal Chronicles and Tactics), Kingdom Hearts, Tales of, Brave Fencer Musashi, Banjo Kazooie, Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, American McGees Alice, Xenogears/Xenoblade, Dark Cloud, Catherine, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Pokémon, Ace Attorney, Golden Sun, Mirror’s Edge, Harvest Moon, some Steam games, Ni no Kuni, Lunar, The Sims, Drakengard, .hack//, Parasite Eve, Bastion, Skies of Arcadia, Journey, Flower, Dance Dance Revolution, Trauma Center/Team, Okami, Bioshock, Team Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Hotline Miami, Uncharted, Dragon’s Dogma, Valkyria Chronicles, and much more. My favorite genre are fighting and rhythm games. I also play World of Warcraft with 2 LVL85 Paladins, LVL 90 Monk, and 85 Mage.

I listen to A LOT of music because it is truly my biggest passion in life. I’m not the type of person that listens to every song from a couple of artists, but rather one or two songs from a bunch of different artists. There’s way too much stuff to even try and summarize it here, so I’ll just say that I mostly listen to game/anime/movie soundtracks as well as artists and bands both mainstream and underground, new and old. My favorite genres are jazz, trip-hop, world, and synthpop, and Yuki Kajiura is my favorite composer and biggest inspiration. Other hobbies include sleeping, swimming, learning choreography, singing, watching sports and documentaries, playing the flute, writing music, Dungeons and Dragons, traveling, and reading. I’m a really fun and silly person, but I like to maintain a mostly private and simple life. I have 3 tattoos and my nose, labret (monroe), and ears pierced.
